Overcharging of Mineral Wate

Dear Sir,

This week I went out for dinner in Kwality Restaurant, an old & reputed Restaurant in Kolkata at Ballyguange Phari. It is under the ownership of the same Kwality Icecreams that we know.

While paying the bill I found that I was charged Rs. 32 for an Aquafina 1 ltr Mineral Water Bottle which had an M.R.P. of Rs.12 printed on the bottle. Upon asking they refused to reduce the bill amount. Moreover, they confidently said that it is a regular practise of overcharging Mineral Water Bottles in most of reputed restaurants in the city over many years.

Even, the overcharged amount (i.e. Rs.32) was also printed on their menu card which on my part I felt is a that these people are cheating their cutomers.

Please undergo necessary actions required. Because I have already found this practise of charging more than M.R.P. is not found in most other metro cities. I would be thankful if this issue is taken up seriously.
