UNDUE DELAY IN REPAIR

I bought a lenovo laptop in the last week of Sep 2008. It developed some complaints during first week of Nov and stopped working. I handed over the laptop to the dealer for further handing over to the service centre at Kottayam, Kerala. They registered a complaint and handed over to the service centre on 10 Nov. I have not received any information till to-day (27 Nov) either from the dealer or from the serice centre. I wounder how much time they take to repair a laptop in this modern age. Even yesterday I contacted the service centre but there is no progress.
