I purchased Lenovo laptop for my daughter in the month of Jan. 09, immidiatly after purchase I found that it was giving problem while charging, the problem was informed to the customercare and they advise us to load the new driver & it was done, after that the laptop was taken by daughter to USA for her studies in the month of Jun. 09. She found the same problem at USA. She approached Lenovo service station at her place and was told that the particular model was not having warranty/service backup at USA.I approached Lenovo at India and asked where rhey have mentioned that the partcular model is not servicable at some of the countries & the answer was quite funny one should go to the website of Lenovo before purchasing the product. The company has not mention these norms neither in their advertisement nor in their warrenty book. Due to this unfair trade practice I have suffered a lot financially and mentally, and I have brought back the said laptop from USA. My daughter is forced to purchase a new laptop at her place. Kindly advice me for my next step.
