Lenovo y410
DVD Ram Drive problem

I bought a Lenovo Laptop Y410 in the month of June. I rarely play disc. However, very recently a problem croped up with my DVD drive. It makes lot of cracking sound whenever I insert a disc. But then I can play a CD but cannot open and play DVD disc. What do I need to do to solve the problem?
