My wireless lan is not working

I bought my laptop from india and came to uk for my higher studies. Now my wireless lan is not working. I reebooted the system and now the operating system windows vista is lost and i have given no cd contaning the vista but have all the drivers for it.what should i do. There is no service centre in uk. How could i make it work.
