My laptop not getting formatted with product recovery disc provided by the company

My lappy is not getting formated with the disc provided by company, its happening since a month, sometimes if he capslock is off, then also it displays capital letters and when we open any folder in a drives of harddisk then all the folders will open.

I m an engineering student in B.V.B.C.E.T. Hubli, Karnataka . i am facin alot of problems as i cannot do the project work due this problem i am undergoing.
