I have an LG 1.5 T Window Air-Conditioner which I purchased in 2006. Thereafter I have been renewing my Annual Maintenance Contract regularly every year for the same. However, I received only one out of the assured three FREE Preventive Maintenance Services during 2008 and not a single FREE Preventive Maintenance Services during 2009. I have been bring this fact to the notice of LG’s Customer Care on 1800-180-9999 repeatedly but nothing has been done. Recently I have brought this to the attention of LG’s Branch Service In-Charge in Kolkata and he has issued instructions to the concerned Service Franchisee but still nothing has been done.
Of late I have been facing problems with the Remote of my AC and I have been lodging complaints with LG’s Customer Care since 31-05-09 and although their technician has visited my premises on two occasions, they have failed to identify the problem and solve the same once-and-for-all. I lodged a complaint for the same problem third time on 12-06-09 (Complaint No. N9C61213996). I also personally met the Branch Service In-Charge on 13-06-09 and explained to him all the above issues and he assured me that the Remote would be REPLACED immediately (maybe even before I returned home) but till 6.00 pm of 14-06-09 there has been no response from LG. Neither has LG responded to my complaint made again for the third time on 12-06-09 not has my defective Remote been replaced as promised.
I have also sent written complaints to LG’s Kolkata Office, their Corporate Office in Greater Noida as well as their Customer Care office also in Greater Noida.
LG has CHEATHED me earlier and continues to CHEAT their customers. Moreover, their after-sales-service, as far as AC’s are concerned in Kolkata is non-existant and their senior officials are either not in a position to enforce compliance from their authorized Service Franchises or they are simply not interested.
