POOR AFTER SALES SERIVICE

An LG color television set 29 inches (FE 5 CGE) was purchased by me on 16th june from a leading agent in coimbatore. The set stopped functioning on 15thMAY and a complaint was registered on 18th May (request id S9C51807238). The service engineer visited my home for inspection of the set and saideclard that the picture tube has become defective and has to be replaced which was really shocking since picture tube is the most important part of a tv set. I again contacted a superior officer of the company and he said he will take the set to the service centre for thorogh inspection. But he did not bother to do that even after 10days. I am worried now if my set purchased by paying nearly Rs15000, will be returned in a functioning state or not, I am also very much disappointed with the quality and after sales service of the LG home products particularly TVs.
