I had submitted my LG Dvd Player which was totally dead to M/s Balaji Distributors, Kanchrapara, Dist. 24 Parganas, W.Bengal who are authorised dealers of M/s. LG Electronics, India on 23/03. Firstly the technician from the Company advised me that the failure was in the Power Supply which would have to replaced. After two weeks when I contacted the dealer they said they couldn't identify the problem properly and need more time. When even after one month I didn't hear anuthing from them I conctacted them again. This time they told me that the technician from the company still couldn't identify the problem. He decided to replace the parts one after one (without having a clue about which one is faulty) till the problem is solved. In this process I will have to bear the cost of all the parts those will be replaced which may or may not be faulty. Considering the absurdity of the proposal the Dealer refused to undertake the repair. Now I am left with an unrepairable dead set. My question to LG is, is this what they call customer service? Is this the quality of their technical people or should we call them quacks?
