Hi, We had bought an LG refrigerator 6 years back. From the first year itself it started giving problems and would stop working every couple of months. The service centre people would just come and change the gas and say that every thing is fine. But nothing was ever fine. They could never figure out what the problem was and we would spend on getting the gas filled again and again.. Sometimes even twice in one month. You can understand my level of frustration from this. I do not understand what a warranty means if a problem cannot be resolved by the technicians and only a temp fix is done. Ideally if they could not figure out the problem, they should have changed the entire unit. Last time (5 months back) they told me it is a compressor problem and changed that the third time. Now my compressor is not even in warranty and I again have the same problem (should be around the 11th time now). If they did not know the solution to the problem why didn't the service people change the unit the first year itself? I had never expected it from a brand like LG and am very dis-satisfied with the service and product quality. Apart from the monetary loss, this has also resulted in a constant tension.
