LG Plasma TV Product Failure

Dear Sir,

We have bought Lg Plasma TV on 20th October model no. 42PX4RV @ RS 85000/- under finance scheme but tv has stopped working within one and half year and accordingly we have made a complain to Lg Service in august08 and lg technician visited and informed us that the module of TV will be changed and approx repair expense would be around Rs 30000/- and 15% discount will be given Total rs 25000/-.

Here we would like to say that, this is not a consumer fault due to Heat, Water or breakage- this is simply a product Failure, how come a TV stop performing in one and half year of such a big multinational company wherein the life span Lg company is claiming 100, 000 hrs and 30 yrs guaranteed on their plasma TV’s. If the fault was small we also could understand and ignore but it’s a major fault of picture module.

We have asked for the replacement of the TV and also we have given written complain to the LG Service desk.

Till Date we are not getting any solution from the company and we are harrasing since 8 months.

We never expect this type of service from such a big company like LG where they say prompt response and after sales service in 2.1.1.
