Electronic control unit problem

We receicved LG washine machin 5.5kt trom model with electronic control as a gift one year before but due to construction of our house is not completed at that time we could not use for the past one year. But after started using that within few months the electronic control panel did not work. We registered our complaint with LG customer care the send some novice person from near by area he don't know how to tackle the problem he simply told us replace the board, we shocked the cost of the board around 30% of the unit cost. Really LG is cheating customers in washing machine segment.
