Eg: settlement of the loan

Sir,

My father took loan in LIC housing Finance lmtd in 2003 and died in the year 2005.The loan was around 4 lakhs. When ever we go to the office they are telling that a letter should come frm Head office, only then we can sugest u. But now suddenly they are asking us to pay 6 lakhs. I dont understand want to do. So please can u suggest some idea.
