Non delivery of Premium notice by the courie

Dear Sir,

I am having no of policies with LIC 95L branch PUNE.

I pay premium on quarterly basis. For last quarter ended in MAY08 and this quarter AUG 08 I have not received the Premium Notice. So on 29 AUG 08, I rang on your LIC Pune branch phone no 24223764 and tried to explain the problem. The operator strted questioning about policy no which I gave. Then I was asked about the change of address, I replied No. Then what is the complaint was rhe question which made me angery. The operator transferred the call to senior officer shae also started asking the questions again asked for Branch Manager. Branch Manager cut off the call and I went to office immdiately and met the Branch Manager. He said your premium notice sent by post and if not delivered LIC could do nothing You should contact courier. On enquiring about the date of despatch and courier name only courier Mobile was provided and contacting from LIC office, reply was contact courier HO.What LIC handed over to me is date as 1AUG 08 as handing over to MARVEXEL Courier Pune by LIC and till date I have not received the same eventhough the premium was due on 15 AUG.One thing is sure LIC must be paying to courier for the services but if the courier could not deliver within 15 days locally what is the use of courier.

LIC is wasting PUBLIC MONEY, TIME, STATIONERY for no reason.
