Poor Service & False Promises

Hi,

I purchased 1 Bed, 2 side -tables and 1 mattress totalling approximately. Rs.50, 000 from Lifestyle Home Centre Gurgaon last year August. (2008 - August). Within 10 months of the purchase of the Bed the mattress as well as the Bed broke. After 20 phonecalls to Mr. Manish from lifestyle (The number mentioned for customer complaints) he finally agreed to replace the mattress and send a carpenter for inspection. The Carpenter (Mr. Kaushal) came and advised me that the Bed is beyond any repairs and need to be replaced for whom I need to speak to Mr. Sandeep Thakran (9871196038). I called Mr. Sandeep Thakran and then decided to personally visit him at the store with my grievances. I told him that I am under terrible back pain due to the broken Bed and requested him to take some immediate action before causing any irrepairable damage to my back. I visited the Lifestyle store on Monday (17th August'09) and was committed that by Wednesday (19th August'09) some one will get back to us. After repeated calls finally I managed to speak to Mr. Sandeep Thakran today (23rd August'09) and he said they will not replace the Bed. The only reason he said was since the Bed is 1 year old we cant replace the same. The purchase date of my Bed is 13th August'08 and I have been following on it for more than a month now. I am sure if timely action would have been taken it would have been replaced as then it was in the warranty period which as per Mr. Sandeep Thakran it is not and this is the reason why it cannot be replaced.

Kindly look into my complaint and provide a solution for the same asap.
