Motherboard just corrupted after 15 days of expiry of warranty period

My laptops's motherboard got corrupted just after the 15days of expiry of warranty period on 16/09.
Now i am being asked by your service center either to pay Rs 7000 to extend the warranty yperiod by 2 years or get a new motherboard by paying Rs 10000. Now what should i do??
