The same PAN has been alloted to two persons

Dear Sir/Madam

My name is Prateek Jha and I Got my PAN card issued on 15-02, by the Income Tax Office of Commissioner (computer operations) R K Puram, New Delhi and my PAN is ADIPJ6780F. Now, After 6 years I got a call from Mayur Bhavan, New Delhi saying that this PAN has been alloted to Mr Santosh Kumar Jha in their records and I have to apply for it again.

I have all the documents supporting the fact that the above mentioned PAN has been alloted to me and I have been filing my returns regularly. I was suppose to get some refunds which I had not yet received.

I am Planning to go to the court and the media since this is a case of serious negligence of duty and harrasment.

Kindly look into the matter ASAP.
