Passport Renewal

Respected Sir,

I have applied my passport renewal on 12/09. I have submitted all the documents mentioned in the application with my old passport. Passport Officer verified the documents and he assured all the documents are correct you will get your passport once police verification is completed. Police verification was completed on October 2nd week but My passport is not delivered to me. I checked on the web site saying that “Please Call at this office on any working day between 09.30 AM and 12.00 Noon with all documents, the xerox copies of which have been enclosed in your application for verification and return”.

I called so many times but one day I got connection saying that you should come to office because some documents are missing. I went to Madurai and asked the status the passport officer said that we did some wrong on your date of birth so write a letter to passport officer for correcting the date of birth. I wrote a letter and gave to him but till date I did not get my passport.

This is not my mistake they did mistake and they asked me to write a letter. This is happening for “Scheduled caste” person’s applications only. Please check all applications which are rejected, delayed or cancelled, 50% to 60% of the applications are scheduled caste applications. Please check the Madurai passport applications, because innocent scheduled caste people suffered.
