Hotels facilities in appropriate

We booked a hotel in december through make my trip for ooty. while booking we were assured all the facilities are available as mentioned in the hotel . upon our arrival we were surprised to find none of facilites were operational. we requested for ferund of our money but they refused. no action was taken by them . none of the indoor facilites were working, lift was under mainatenaince, hot water was not available, room conditons were pathetic. i wonder how did makemytrip had given the 3 star rating to it..??
