I made an online return ticket booking under the ID FLT00006552480 (amount Rs14398) on Sep17th at about 5.45 pm. Due to some ‘communication failure’ I wasn’t provided with any PNR number or status, neither did I receive a call from the customer care as promised on the website. This leaves me with no option to make any other booking as I don’t know if the current ticket is confirmed or not.
After repeated calls and speaking to numerous customer care excecutives till into late ours afermidnight and being promised that the matter will be looked into with utmost urngency, that our call will be returned in half an hour etc, noone called me to resolve the matter. I am writing this at this odd hour of the morning, not knowing if I will be able to board my flight at 10 am or be able to make an alternative booking.
I think this is extreme irresponsible behaviour on the part of not just customer care but also senior management which conveniently stays away from the scenes. Whom is a customer supposed to contact in such events? Your 24 hour customer care numbers are never picked up and customers are harassed by being put on hold for long hours and then the calls are cut only to be put to a new excecutive who asks for the entire story to be repeated n number of times.
I am on the verge of suffering heavy losses if I miss my flight and will take this matter up with utmost seriousness. Kindly respond to this with the urgency it warrants. I have made numerous hotel and flight bookings on Makemytrip and am enraged by the situation.
