MARUTI ALTO LXI
Failure of alternato

I had bought Maruti Alto lxi in November. Due to heavy rains in chennai for the last few days, there was severe water logging and the car was submerged in the water for 2 days. I had called the helpline for towing the vehicle to the service centre. The 1 st service was carried over and I have been informed that the alternator is not working.

I would like to know whether the replacement of alternator comes under your warranty, which i had seen in the manual given by Maruti Suzuki. Kindly clarify and please let me know.
