Non-receipt of Maruti Auto Card!

I brought a maruti swift on feb and i applied for the autocardas per the request of the dealer. after few weeks i got a letter frm citi bank that my application i regected.

The specific reason for rejection is not mentioned in the in the letter.

During my first service due to the continuous request of indus motors i applied again. after a week one lady frm chennai called me and asked me whether i had applied for the same she also verified my address and told me she will contact me later .thats all till today nobody has called me in this regard.

i doubt whether it is a trick for attracting the customers. if not why there is no followup in the application and no specific reason mentioned for rejection?
