Guest Parking in the Society

Respected Sir,

We stay in a Society in Mumbai. In our Society there are some tenants of the landlord, who resides. Now one of the member of the tenant has parked 2 Wheeler in the society premises without permission and also not submitted the proper vehicle documents. The society has made the following rules in respect of vehicle parking.

1) Compulsory submission of the copy of the proper vehicle documents viz. Copy of RC Book. to prove

the bonafide identity of the person.

2) Parking to the family members of the society, who resides in the society premises.

Upon non permission of vehicle documents / without permission of parking, the society has charged Guest Parking to the tenant on daily basis. However the tenant is neither responding to society bill nor paying the same. On the other hand he is doing Dadagiri.

We request you to guide us in this matter and let us know whether the charging of guest parking is correct or wrong?
