Unavailability of Common Spares

I purchased the SUV in May in Pune. Recently I drove the SUV after not using the same for 5 Days (since I was out of town). I heard a horrible rythematic sound coming from the left wheel. I stopped and checked if anything was stuck in the wheel but could not find anything. After driving for about 1 km I found the sound disappeared. Next day I took the vehicle to Millenium Mobility Pvt. Ltd from who the car was purchased. They agreed to investigate and they found that being an Automatic Version the Break Pads were worn out.

To my surprise they told me that Spare Pads were not available and would take 3/4 days to arrange the same. Is is not ridiculas that Maruti do not stock such common spare.
