Regarding Bad Service and harrashment

Sir,

Being allured by and assured of prompt and efficient after sales services I have purchased one Maruti Wagon R vehicle for my personal use from your dealer Lohiya Motors Ltd., Berhampur on 04.03.2009being Engine No. F10DN4591654, Chasis No. MA3EED81S00766952and taking on periodical services there on regular basis as per the schedule. But after some days the battery was discharged even though I am running the vehicle everyday as it is used for my conveyance to medical college and I brought it to the notice of the service personnel of Lohiya Motors who in their turn charged the same free of cost and installed the same. Again after some days on 07.07.2009 the battery showed the same problem and the Lohiya Motors people charged a sum of Rs.72/-(Rupees Seventy two only) vide their job card no. JC09001372 giving a deaf ear to my complain about the warranty on battery and again charged the same and assured me that the battery is O.K. and they got it tested by the Exide People. To my utter surprise again after a gap of around 20 days the same happened and this time the battery was handed over to the Exide Industries Limited situated at Berhampur for charging and testing of the battery and they delivered me the same on01.08.2009 vide their delivary challan no. BRM/BRM/09/116 with a report that the BATTERY RETURNED IN OK CONDITION.Again after a month the same problem occurred which doubled my mental agony and again the same was sent to the Exide Industries Limited situated at Berhampur and at this time as advised I accompanied the service personnel to request the in charge of Berhampur office of Exide industries to change the battery as it is in warranty period and reoccurrence of the same problem is causing me mental agony, inconvenience coupled with wastage of time & money but the person present there informed me in a rude manner that who are you to come over here and we are not there to here you. We are not concerned with you in any manner.By this I was mentally shocked and it also hampered my prestige as a gentle man will never expect such recalcitrant attitude and rude behavior from a service personnel which affects the reputation of Maruti Udyog Ltd. also. It will not be out of place that though he has admitted that there is some leakage but refused to give it in writing. Again the battery was recharged and after that the Lohiya Motor People kept thwe vehicle for 5 days under observation and returned back to me but again a few days (15 days) the same problem raised and the lohiya motor people taken the vehicle returned me with a demo battery installed in my car.

So please take necessary appropriate steps at your end for solving the problem (replacement of Battery / any defective part) at an earliest failing which I will constrained to initiate appropriate legal proceedings.
