Tax dection

I booked my car on 3rd dec and informed dealer that i will pick my car from you 12th dec. Govertment reduces the taxes from 7th dec midnight and price car is reduced to approx Rs 12500/

But dealer charged mr old taxes . i want to know if i took delivery of my car on 12th dec how can i pay taxes appicable on dated 3rd dec,

please guide
