Maruti swift dzire LDI
Very high fuel knocking sound

Hello,

I just took delivery of a Swift Dzire LDi vechile two days before through Khivraj Motors in chennai. Right from the day of the delivery, I see a very abnormal feul knocking sound when the pedal is pressed. When I went to the dealer yesterday, he simply ignored my comments saying that this is normal. When I insisted and driven another Dzire diesel there in their yard, I could see a lot of difference between my vechicle and the one that I drove yesterday. The General Manager - Service at Khivraj Motors drove my vechicle and again said that there could be variations between vechicles and they cannot do anything about it since it is all in-built within the vechicle.

Another point made was about the fuel quality. There is no reason for me to believe it is due to the fuel quality since it is the same fuel (free 5 litre) given by the dealer for my vechicle and the other new vechicle that I drove.

After paying more than 6 lakhs and taken the delivery on 8th August, I somehow feel cheated now. Will Maruti Intervene and bother to resolve the issue for a new customer?
