Maruti Swift Dzire vxi
Delay in delivery

I have booked Maruti Swift Dzire VXi with M/s Premsons Motor of Ranchi in Oct. I have also paid advances as asked. I was told at that time that the delivery will be within 3 months, i.e., Jan. But now it is being informed that it will take minimum 6 months from now!!! I am a serving army officer posted somewhere in Ladakh region and my going on leave to now depends upon the delivery of the vehicle. I cannot reach the dealer randomly and have to prepare a detailed plans because of difficulty in movement here.

I had planned for my leave in Jan as per the promise but the Maruti employee is now not committing any approximate date of delivery thereby compounding my problems. Although I own a Maruti car as of now but am getting worked up due to the attitude and apathy of the Maruti people.

I am seriously considering to buy any other car Logan or Ford which I had cancelled earlier. Feeling helpless in the absence of any firm commitment from the dealer.
