Maruti Swift VXi (ABS)
Delay in delivery of maruti vxi abs

Hi,

I booked the car from sai service lower parel during end of Sep 07. the car booked was swift vxi abs bright red colour. While booking I was told that the delivery will be done by 20-30 Oct 07. Recently I am told that Maruti has problems in production [huge demand, which can't be supplied), so I won't get the car for four months at least, which makes the delivery date to be end of Jan 07.

I said in that case, I will like to cancell the booking... then I was told that I can get vxi abs [same model] but not red bright colour, but in silky silver, which will be delivered to me by 5-Nov-07. I am disappointed as I always wanted to have Red Bright colour.

I wish to know how do I get red bright colour before end of this month. How do I know whether it is problem from Maruti company itself or something else.

To be frank, I am delighted by my existing maruti zen vxi... Maruti has achieved it's mission (or objective) statement of customer delight... but with this new experience, I am now delighted for sure. I just wish to get the delivery by end of this month of red bright maruti swift vxi abs. And not really interested in knowing the reasons of this mishap, which I have to suffer.
