Cost of Electrical Wiring

Rats damaged Engine wiring which causes miss firing in engine. I gave my car to GEMS Motors,

Hyderabad. It took 2 days for them to identify the wiring damages. They gave me informal

estimate of Rs. 5000/-. I am shocked. The wires are simple thin copper wires. Worst case (if

GEMS exaggerate) they are not more than Rs. 20 per meter. Assuming worst case 100 meter

of wire is required. Exaggerated cost of wire is no more than Rs. - I am sure from where these

Rs. 5000/- estimates are coming-up. What kind of servicing is this?
