Maruti Versa SDX
Insensitive Delay Masters

My Maruti Versa SDX (PY 01-Y) was towed into ISO certified Vasanthi Automobiles Workshop of Pondicherry on 25th October 10pm due to some malfunctioning in starting. They said things will be looked into after Diwali holidays on 29th. On 29th I was told that an electronic unit connected with motor needs replacement and it has to come from Delhi. TheWorks manager

Mr palaniappan on 29th said the cost of the spare isRs 4000/-initially and after 2hrs said it is 8000 .We accept whatever they said without any protest. We were told to wait till Nov1 /3 for the spare part to arrive. The workshop now tells me that the part is yet to be delivered.

My questions to Maruti Ltd.are:

1The support vehicle for Vasanthi Automobiles is Versa and they never stock any important Genuine spares in their facility. If time is an important factor in responding to a customer's complaint, how on earth they were certified as ISO acrredited?

They attend to complaints only after 3 days. Nothing is urgent for them. It is only a trade center and not a technical center for Maruti repairs.

2.They are as casual and as indifferent to customers like the Govt. offices and dispose off any complaining customer with false promises. There is no semblance of trade ethics being followed there. Only after phoning them, today at 11 am they cared to contact the courier whether the ordered part has arrived in Chennai or not. Why then false promises to customers?

I know nothing will materialise out of this complaint also ;at least this is a way to ventilate instead of kicking the concerned Maruti management/Dealers on their...

The Work Manager Mr. Palaniappan, who promised me that everything will be done by Monday, is not there today to respond as he is on leave. I shall patiently wait till Pongal festival to take the delivery of my repaired vehicle form these insensitive delay masters Maruti. Maruti's" Alibaba Dealers" can only advertise falsehoods about all themselves and their own management. All their top executives are supposed to be IIM graduates!! What a way to dupe Public!!
