Behaviour and not taking back after oneday of purchage

The baviour and the way of dealing is harrsing. I purchages a AC power converter for my panasonic cordless phone on 22nd Nov07 and found that it is not useful to my phone. So next day I told to return it but they asked for the cover of the component. I told I don, t have, so without that is it possible to replace? But their behaviour and way of talking is very harassing. The interesting part is, when I wanted to buy a AC convertor for panasonic, they were giving me with out cover? How can they sell without company cover? the answer is "it comes like this". With the no solution argument, I gave them the power converter and return. So I lost the money and suffer mental tension
