Addon charges with Movie Tickets

On 18th Oct, I went to Mayajaal along with my family for a new release movie. At the ticket counter, it was forced to buy some combo snacks coupon of about Rs.80/- along with every movie ticket. this means that for every movie ticket of Rs.120/- one has to buy snacks coupon for Rs.80/- thus making Rs.200/- overall per movie ticket. This was insisted right at the ticket counter and any questions raised by public, movie tickets were denied by the counter sales person. So, poor public like us who came all the way for about 40kms from city for an entertainment along with family, would have to accept being cheated or be ready accept the great insult/ill treatment by staffs at the Mayajaal. Imagine, for a family with 10 members one has to unnecessarily spend rs.800/- for compulsory snack coupon (a small cup of unhygienic uncrispy popcorn with unchilled warm coke). highligh is the arogancy of the mayajaal staff members at the counter serving snacks for this compulsory coupons. They think as if these were provided as complimentary/free of cost and surronds public like a gundas whoever questions. Not sure why they do like this.. is it part of Deepawali bonanza that management of mayajaal think or management is completely unaware? But, this is not at all acceptable and i hope many of you would have faced similar bad experience at the place we expect entertainment with peace. Request the concerned to take remedial action.
