Views over the recent news item regarding DPS ranchi teache

Sir,

I, a student of Delhi Public School, Ranchi, send this mail informing you about the actual scenario that prevailed when our respected teacher Dr. Arun Kumar had to punish the class 8th student. The media has been presenting only one side of the coin and I intend to show the flip side of the coin. Yours being the most read newspaper in this locality, I opt for your newspaper to spread my message.

More than any message, sir, i have a question to pose. What is the issue troubling the boy and his parents? If it is the way he has been hurt, why instead of moving to the hospital are they making rounds of the court and the media offices? They are demanding humiliation of the teacher. Their demand was that the teacher should apologise to the student in front of the assembly. This is what is WRONG.If what they care for is the child's well being, why humiliate the teacher?

I personally have been a student of Dr, Arun Kumar for three whole years, and I believe sir is the one of the most patient teachers and he just cannot hit a child for simply talking in the class.

Thus sir, i would like to appeal to all the readers and to the media and also to the child's parents to please have an unbiased look at the flip side of the coin too.
