For received full payment of hired books

Sir,

I hired two book set of B.Tech.(IT) IInd semester from Mehta Book House, 345, Tonk-Phatak, Jaipur on 30% rent. I deposited Rs.2580, full value of these books as gaurantee. The receipt no. of amount is 15048 dated10.04.09 and 5737 dated 04.05.09.After Exams when I returned these Books the proprieter of Book shop refused me to retun 70% of deposit amount. He aruged that the syllasbus has been changed of three subject and he will not pay that change books. He paid me only Rs.1300 against the 1806 (70% of deposit amount Rs. 2580)

This is totally fraud from me and other students who are hiring books. When we are taking books on hire and giving exam from these books. Syllabus is changing in year 2010 how can he refused us for actual payment.

Kindly take a necessary action and give a relief to all the students who hires books.
