Fake note from SBI ATM

I withdrew Rs 40000 from SBI ATM G.Noida and later on when I was making a payment to some body he pointed me to a fake note from those notes of thousand rupees. I went to SBI bank branch managing that ATM and told him about this and he didn't do any thing. I wrote a application in this regards to branch manager and got it received from him.

Is there any thing which I can do so that I can get my money back or atleast some things is done to ensure this thing does not repeat with any body else?
