Roadblock at Andheri

Respected Sirs/Madams,

I had gone to have tea at Hotel Prasadam outside Andheri East Railway Station. At the very entrance of the restaurant there is cement paste on the road, on which I slipped and fell down.

It is very disheartening that the civic authorities are not concerned about the safety of Aam Aadmi.

The roads at Andheri East and West are completely blocked by Metro work in progress and the footpaths are also blocked by hawkers. There is a mega road block at Chakala and on the road towards Pinky Theatre, which is causing tremendous traffic jams during office hours in the morning and evening.

There are no proper bus stops and the people have no place to walk. I feel that the authorities instead of only taking notes should also do something concrete to ease the problem of the people.

I also feel that the politicians instead of going on with their banner-blitz for votes should educate the people and create awareness of hygenic living and also take criminal action against food adulterators, booze traffickers and hawkers.
