Lottery Scam

Dear Sir,
Within the past 24 hrs I have received an e-mail from the following e-mail address: Pinket Griffin with the attached phone no: 44 702 406 6975 claiming that I had won an online lottery in the amount of One Million Pound Sterling with the following reference no: Ref: L/200-26937 Batch: 2009MJL-01. Your organization was directly referred to as being a partner to this scheme. It is quite obvious to me that the e-mail attachments that have been sent to me is an attempt at online fraud.
I do not believe that your organization takes part in such activities. Sadly though a sibling of mine had replied to the fraudulent e-mails by sending my personal information; luckily however my sibling was unaware as to my credit card information which has quite frankly saved me.
While I am fully aware of your organizations limitations regarding this matter, I do however advise that your organization contact the relevant UK authorities as well as the various mail service providers (such as gmail and so on) to warn them of these unlawful practices. While I may have been lucky in this instance, I am sure that others in the South East Asian region will not have the same luck.
I hope that this very troubling problem is rectified at the earliest possible time.
Respectfully
Rezwan Kabir.
