Microsoft lottery award

Dear Sir/Madam,

I've received a mail from Microsoft online promotion saying that mt id has won a cash price of few thousand pounds (GBP). And they say that this amount can only be transfered by opening an online account with HSBC bank with opening charges of close to 500 Pounds, which cannot be deducted from my prize money since that will be in secret account which can only be accesed by the winner himself.

Is this real? And can I believe this? I need some additional information on this so that i can be sure of spending (opening an account) for a right cause coz i've seen many similar complaints on this site & 'm really concerned about the authenticity of this.

Pls help & do revert if u need further information on this.
