Cancellation of order

Dear Sir,

I tried to book for tha 60, 00, 000 sweepstakes comittee offer for Rs.2, 598/- on 13.12. 08. but could not get it processed, so I ignored it. But some boy informed me yester day from Phone No.911204740400 that my order was booked and it covers airefare for me only while the accomodation and food are for the couple. As I am aged 73 with a meagre pension, I cannot afford to incur the expenses for my wife, nor I can travel alone. I, therefore requested him to cancel the order tao wahich he replied that the order cannot be cancelled and advised me to contaact customer care at 1800 102 4242. But I could not contact either the customer care No. given or the phone No. from which the call emanated - it is said that he p[hone Nos. are out of service. I therefore request you to cancel the order an not to debit my credit card any amount therefor.

I already posted this complain on this web as also by e mail to response@indiatodaybookclub.com yester day itself without any reply or acknowledgement so far.

Please cancel the order and confirm not having raised any debit against my credit card in this regard.
