Cancellation of card

I had taken a credit card from ABN Amro Bank on 26.8.2004. the card number was 5415382313080145. It was supposed to be a free card. but after one year they had charged renewal fees i.e, the annual fee of Rs. 500. on seeing this in the statement i had complained to the ABN Amro Bank customer care and informed them to cancel my card immediately. the complaint numbers are 038668081 and 038670130.

But they have not cancelled the card and been sending statements to me asking me to pay the amount which i have refused as i am not using the card. I have paid all the amount for the transactions i have made in the 1st year. and there is no amount pending from my side.

I would like this to be resolved at the earliest.
