I am a Media Professional, Editor in Chief for a travel magazine, published from New Delhi – I bring to your kind attention the following trauma that I had undergone after I changed my mind to buy Samsung mobile phone and hat too your latest model S8300.
I bought Samsung S8300 last month from Shoppers Stop at Raja Garden mall. I was impressed by the looks of the phone in the advertisement shown to me by the vendor. It was perhaps the only piece he had to sell. Being tempted I bought the phone.
Using the phone for less than two weeks I have found the following problems in the phone
1. It gets heated up very fast when talking
2. Talk time is very low
3. The call gets disconnected quite often when I switch on the phone to hear the caller
4. The voice in the phone is scratchy and not clear at all
5. I have to shout and make my self audible to the caller as they can hardly hear me or the vice versa.
I would urge you to kindly replace the phone having such problems. I also went to the vendor who said that it all lies with the company to decide as they had faced these problems earlier also. I
I spoke to Mr. Praful, product manager yesterday who promised to resolve the issue ASAP and suggested to have the phone scrutinized by their service centre. I am sure the phone would have no value once it is opened up at the service centre as it is a brand new phone. I was approached by Mr. Sumit of your organization to have the phone taken to service centre at Ramesh Nagar near to metro pillar 378. Though I unwillingly went there and wasted two hours as I could not the service centre. Thereafter I tried frantically for hours dialling my landline to speak to Mr. Sumit and also Mr. Praful as the phones were consistently discounted at the reception and once or twice I was successful I was made to wait for several minutes on phone.
In view of the above I don’t know what to say. As I can request you to kindly change my phone and replace with a better and higher version of phone or advice your vendor to give an option so that I can buy a phone of a different company. As you are busy in your own affairs so am I and I don’t wish to waste your valuable time nor mine being a corporate professional.
