Defective shawls

About two years ago, I bought shawls along with sarees worth AUD 5000 from the above shop in Chennai situated in Cathedral road. Being a high profile, shop I did not bother to check the shawls. To my surprise, 2 of the pieces were torn and at that instance I wrote to the shop. A manager replied to me stating that it would be replaced as and when I return to India. Fortunately, my husband had to visit Chennai in about 6 months. He did take the shawls and the manager's letter requesting for a replacement. He was rudely informed that he would get a 10% off on any new purchase and no replacement. Either the manager is a bull shitter or the company is a big fraud. My advice to all consumers, do not even bother purchasing at MOKSHA. Its all smiles when you go for a purchase but utter rudeness when you rightly ask them for a replacement... The customer service is extremely bad..why bothere spending huge money when you can get the same sarees even better ones from other shops like Pothies, Nallis etc..
