Hi,
I purchased the handset motorola e6 on 17-10 from sion, mumbai. It worked well for 4-5 days but after that it started giving me the problems. With all those problems it stopped working in few days. Since i am working in Pune, Maharashtra it is not convenient for me to travel to mumbai regularly so on 31-10 i went to the shop frm whr i had purchased this handset (motorola e6) but i have been told to go to service centre and to upgrade the software, but somehow i was unable to do so because on 01-11 morning i have to leave for pune, maharashtra and on 31-10 service centre was closed on account of sunday. On 05-11 i returned back to mumbai and on 06-11 i went to that shop and told them to do the needful just because i dont have time, they thn agreed to send their person to service centre. On 12-11 i am getting a call from motorola service centre, mumbai saying that your mobile could not be replaced because they hav found some chemical inside it which indicate that i have opened my handset's panel at some other place before showing it to them.
Let me clear one thing, if i m purchasing any electrical item and if it has stoppd working in few days thn definetly i would go directly to the service centre or from the shop i have purchased it, but this motorola people are saying that the defective handset has been opened before and that chemical is a clear sign of it.
I dont know what chemical they are talking about and i am clear from side that i never opened my handset's panel before this.
Please help me on this.
Thanks,
Nikhil
