Complaint against misbehaviour and ill treatment by railway staff at Lonavla

Respected Sir,

On 18th June i visited computerized reservation counter at Lonavla to enquire about availability of reservation for 3 tier berth. The lady on the counter Mrs. Yashoda Waghmare incharge of reservation center attendent my enquiry she told me that reservation is not available so i asked her to please check the position on the computer and then give me the answer. In reply she asked me not to talk like a stupid! so i asked her to talk properly to me and to behave. when this was going on a member of the railway staff (Mr. P.P. Menon) suddenly intervened and took a small board lying there and threw it at me & called me a bastard. Luckily for me because of the glass the board didn't hit me & i was save from certain injury.

Both his behavior and his gross language had shaken me!

Members of public don't come to railway station to be abused and attacked physically by on duty railway staff. The attached was unprovoked and unwarranted. The person who attacked me was not in the picture at all. I was talking with the lady not with him. He had no business to intervene and attack me. When i went to the on duty station manager Mr. R.R.Singh to complain, he asked me to file my complaint, which i did.

Mean while Mr. Menon & the lady went to the R.P.F.Office and the R.P.F. constable came and took me to R.P.F. Office and told me there is a complaint against me of havin abused railway staff and find me Rs.500/- infront of the megistrate.

No one once bothered to know what the reality was and without listening the fact i was fined and declared guilty.

I hereby appeal to you to redress my grievance and refund Rs.500/- wrongly taken from me.
