Harrasment and Nuicence from co passengers and railway authority

Respected Sir,

On 15th of February, i had to travel along with my wife & sister in law, from jaipur to indore (Train no:2466-intercity express). It happened like this: We were asleep in the afternoon in our coach (A.C Three Tier), After sometime we heard some laoud noise from our front side seat. Two men and a girl were having fun.till then it was o.k, but after some time we noticed that three of them were passing some comments and making fun of co-passengers (including us).those were the indirect comments though, but specially women had to put their heads down and were feeling very insecure. One of those two men was from another coach and just was time passing with his friends, making bad comments on women and staring at them. The worst i saw was that even that girl along with them was backing them.

I Want to know how could TTE allow such person in the coach whose reservation is in another coach.and what are the security measures are been taken from railways authority for this, specially WOMEN? Besides this, i observed many times people harrass girls and women on station, in coaches and on platforms. Indian Railways has provided Police Force to help Victims but no body knows where to complaint and even do not know whether POLICE or RPF will help them out. I suppose, TTE must be present in the coach through out the running train, but after checking the tickets, where he goes away GOD himself knows.even, the attendent remains absent as he feels himself free after giving the bedrolls to the passengers.

This is an another incident which we had to face;we were going to Nizamuddin from Gondwana Express. We did'nt see the attendent in the A.C coach through out our journey.when we were about to reach Nizamuddin, one person came to me and also approached all the passengers and was asking us to give some money as many we wish as a gift for his service. I asked him who u are and got shocked when he said he was an attendent. Coz i have'nt seen him since last 24 hours.along with him was another boy, as if they were asking for HAFTA from the passengers. Who is responsible for this???

Attendent means, on every station he should attend the passengers and help them in the coach whenever in need and he is paid for this i suppose? I am afraid that the day will come and these railway people will threaten the passengers and will ask for HAFTA from them. Sir this incident took place on 11th of february in the morning in A.C Two Tier (A1) in Gondwana Express. I heard the contract has been given to the private service for the attendent also.this is disgusting and dangerous in future for the travellers. I expect the quick action from the railway authority in this concern. This bad experience which i faced, i do not want other people to face the same.may it be YOU, ME or ANYONE else.
