Msebs huge bill since last 8 months

Hi this is kiran from dombivli east, we are recieving huge electricity bills from last 8 months as we shifted to our new house from last 8 months, we use very less power, even after using power saver equipments in our house we are recieving rs.8000-rs.15000 bill amount and we are still paying .i think we have a faulty meter which gives us this much huge bill.we could pay up to rs.2500-rs.3000 my family is in very big tension with this bills.

I request u to pls advise me for the solution at the earliest
