MSN/Yahoo Lottery
Egarding non residential tax of MSN/Yahoo Lottery

Sir,

I was selected as a winner in MSN/Yahoo annual Lottery out of 5 winners.

The amount is 7, 50, 000.00 pounds. I have also paid Rs 30, 058.00 courier charges (normal delivery class) to Inter Cargo Courier Company. Sir, now the courier company & Inland Revenue department is saying that I have to pay Non Residential Tax of 1750 Pounds.

My querry is whether the lottery or tax is genuine.

If the tax is genuine, why not deduct the Tax Amount (1750 Pounds) from my Principal Amount (7, 50, 000.00 Pounds).

If I have to pay the Tax, why not I should pay the tax to revenue department directly.

Credibility of courier company is a big concern for me beacuse they have not told me about the tax, after depositing the courier charges. Sir, in our country (India), Rs 30058.00 & 1750 pounds equivalent to Rs 131, 250.00 is a big amount.

Sir, my humble request to you is to go through the matter and inform me about the genuinity of the lottery & tax.
