Non Changing of Broadband plan and ill support offered by the employees

The number given by the MTNL call representative was 48000098.
I had called 1500 on 30th of November for the plan change and confirmed with your call representative to change the plan and was assured by the representative of the plan change (i wanted to change from 749NU to unlimited 256.). I had reconfirmed on 1st December if my plan had changed or not and was told by a female employee that changes would be implemented from the evening of 1st December.
Now it has occured that due to a technical fault in MTNL's system the OD was produced for 1st of december and the change would be applicable from 1st of January and i have to pay any additional usage charges @ 1rupee per mb. (What i can't understand is that why should i pay for MTNL's fault)
Please find a solution asap as i am not prepared to pay any additional usage charges because of MTNL's negligence.
Please track the time of the call when 48000098 number was issued by your representative and you would be able to see that the call was made on 30th of November.
Please find a workable solution for this as i have already contacted helpdesk, MTNL office and 1500 and nobody is the least bothered.
This is not the kind of support that is expected from such a big company.
