1504 call cente

My internet connection at home has been giving trouble for the past 2 months. While I have a connection, the line keeps dropping.

I have registered a complaint twice in these 2 months (this is when I have got someone on the line at the 1504 call center... otherwise the line is answered but no one speaks). Both times the connection was restored and it worked ok for a couple of days.

When I called today, I got the famous blank response the first 3 times after which the line was answered and put aside - I could hear the "lovely ladies" kackling away with each other (in Marathi) but no one bothered to speak.

And yes, the funny thing is that you select "1 for English" but have to speak in Hindi or Marathi.

MTNL claims they are the lifelineof Mumbai and Delhi - I beg to differ!
